X1 is the product of the label’s current creator in residence - GJC.

X1 explores movement through the translation of motion tracking information - derived from dance, into user data for the application of automating static audio and visual components. By feeding robotic and slow motion dance movement into organic sounds and images, X1 is able to simulate a “spontaneous and irresistible weld” between the auditory and the visual.
